Will Virat Kohli return for remaining Test matches against England? BCCI unclear

The Board of Cricket Council for India remains unclear if Virat Kohli will be returning to play in the remaining Test matches against England.

In the latest updates, the BCCI (Board of Cricket Council for India) remains unclear if Virat Kohli will be returning to play in the remaining Test matches against England.

Earlier, Kohli had requested leave from the first two Tests against England, owing to personal reasons. However, if he will be returning for the rest of the matches, is not clear.

The BCCI had specifically asked the fans and media to not try and dig deep into the matter. However, AB De Villiers recently revealed on a YouTube video that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are expecting their second child.

In the video, Villiers said, “Yes, his second child is on the way. It is family time and things are important to him. If you are not true and genuine to yourself, you lose track of what you are here for. I think most people’s priority is family. You cannot judge Virat for that. Yes, we do miss him but he has made absolutely the right decision.”

Apart from Virat Kohli, pacer Mohammed Shami and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja are unlike to return for the remaining India vs England Test matches as well.

While Shami is recovering from the ankle injury suffered during the ODI World Cup, Jadeja has taken a backseat due to the injury he suffered during the first Test against England in Hyderabad.

Meanwhile, buzz has it that KL Rahul will be making a comeback soon as he is getting better.
