India need 287 runs to win Perth Test

Perth Test: India need 287 runs to win the second test as the host Australia were bundled out for 243 runs in the second innings after Mohammad Shami produced his career-best figures of 6/56 here today.

Usman Khawaja scored 72 runs, the highest individual runs in the second innings of Australia. Apart from Usman Khawaja, Tim Paine (37), Aaron Finch (25) and Marcus Harris (20) were the other second and third top scorers of Austral respectively.

Besides, Shami (6/56), Jasprit Bumrah took 3 wickets for 39 runs while Ishant Sharma pocketed the other wicket.

Till the filing of this story, India had scored 13 runs in their second innings with the loss of Lokesh Rahul and Cheteshwar Pujara’s wickets.

Australia had scored 326 runs in their first innings while India had managed to score 283, and they need 287 runs to win the match.
