Faf du Plessis: The openers, skipper of Royal Challengers Bangalore remained in sublime touch. The South African scored 730 runs in 14 games during his IPL campaign.

Shubham Gill & Yashasvi Jaiswal: These two prolific Indian batters, who are tipped to be the future of Indian cricket ahead have showcased their batting masterclass on several occasions. Gill has scored 722 runs so far and is only eight runs behind du Plessis, who holds the Orange cap. With 625 runs from 14 IPL 2023 matches, Jaiswal ranks fifth among batters with the most runs.

Suryakumar Yadav & Shivam Dube: Mr. 360 of the Mumbai Indians has amassed 544 runs from 15 matches and continues to entertain his fans. Shivam Dube of CSK was another player who stood out this season. He scored an explosive knock when the team led by MS Dhoni needed it the most. In terms of his stats, the lanky batter has scored 386 runs from 15 matches in the current edition, with one grand final remaining.

Heinrich Klaasen & Axar Patel: There have been some teams in the IPL 2023 who had a bad run, but their batters didn’t let that affect how they played. They are the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s (SRH) stumper-batter Heinrich Klaasen and the Delhi Capitals’ (DC) star all-rounder, Axar Patel. Both Klaasen and Axar aggregated 448 runs (12 matches) and 283 runs (14 matches), respectively. Axar also showed his bowling prowess, taking 11 wickets, while Klaasen scored his thrilling first IPL century for a losing cause.

Rashid Khan: When referring to the lower order of the best-playing XI, GT all-rounder Rashid Khan has excelled in the ongoing IPL 2023. The outstanding leg spinner played some mind-boggling batsmanship and put together some memorable bowling spells. In his excursion in the IPL 2023, the Afghan picked up 25 wickets and is simply behind his partner and pacer, Mohammed Shami, who is right now holding the purple cap with 26 wickets to his name.
