Well that is indeed happening for Indian students as now they have a chapter dedicated to Rohit Sharma in their eighth grade General Knowledge book.
The chapter has been titled as ‘Talented Young batsman.’ It gives a quick look into Sharma’slife and cricket journey up to 2016. The book acknowledges his achievements and milestones, making students happy to have their cricket hero as a part of their studies.
This recognition comes just before the Rohit Sharma led Indian cricket team faces Australia in the final match of ICC ODI World Cup 2023 at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.
