Dhaka: India defeated Malaysia 6-2 in their second Super 4 stage match of the Asia Cup hockey tournament played here on Thursday .
Six Indians scored a goal each to better their chances of qualifying for yet another final of the Asia Cup.
Akashdeep Singh (15th minute), S K Uthappa (24th), Gurjant Singh (33rd), S V Sunil (40th) and Sardar Singh (60th) scored field goals, while Harmanpreet converted a penalty corner in the 19th minute.
For Malaysia, Razie Rahim (50th) and Ramadan Rosli (59th) scored one goal each.

In their first Super 4 stage match on Wednesday, India drew with defending champions South Korea 1-1.India will play arch-rivals Pakistan in their third and final Super 4 match on Saturday.
