Love for dogs: Farmer wills half of his property to pet dog

In a befitting case of human-animal friendship a farmer in Bhopal reportedly willed half of his property to his pet dog. As reported in Times Now News the elderly farmer hails from Chhindwara in Madhya Pradesh who willed about 9 acres of his land to his pet dog Jacky.

As per reports, Om Narayan Verma from Bhopal was upset with the behaviour of his son. On the other hand his wife and dog take care of him while the dog named Jacky is like a son to him, he reportedly said.

After getting disappointed with the behaviour of his son Narayan reportedly willed half of his property to his dog while the other half of his property to his second wife Champa. The 50-year-old farmer owns a total of 18 acres of land.

Narayan reportedly wrote in his will, “My wife and my pet dog take care of me. Therefore, I am the closest to them.  After I pass away, I want my second wife Champa and pet dog Jacky to inherit all the property I have. The person who takes care of the dog will inherit the property I have set aside for it.”
