Bhubaneswar: In yet another case of ‘sexting’ in the capital city Bhubaneswar, the Commissionerate Police here arrested a youth for sending distasteful messages and objectionable videos to a woman medico.
The accused has been identified as Sibu Prasad Panda alias Abhi (23), a resident of Bhadrak’s Basudevpur area.
As per a complaint filed against the accused at Nayapalli Police Station, he was stalking the victim, who studies in a private medical college in the city for past few months. He used to make prank calls to the girl initially and later started sending objectionable videos on instant messaging platform WhatsApp.
A team of Nayapalli Police conducted a raid on the house of the accused yesterday and arrested him.
