Thunderstorm Alert For Many Districts In Odisha, Moderate Rainfall Likely

Bhubaneswar: The Regional Meteorological Department at Bhubaneswar issued thunderstorm and rainfall alert for several districts of Odisha today.

Light to moderate rain or thundershower very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Nuapada, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Boudh, Kandhamal, Ganjam, Nayagarh, Gajapati, Koraput, Kendrapara Keonjhar and Puri.

Thunderstorm with lightning and gusty surface wind speed reaching 30-40 kmph very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Bolangir, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nayagarh and Ganjam, it added and issued ‘Yellow Warning’ for the districts.
