Salary hike of Gana Sikhyaks in Odisha,12,113 teachers to be benefitted

Bhubaneswar: There has been a salary hike of Gana Sikhyaks in Odisha , as many as 12,113 teachers shall be benefitted.

Reports say that, the Odisha government has hiked the pay of Gana Sikhyaks who have not passed OTET from Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000. The services of Gana Sikhyaks who have cleared OTET shall be regularized said reports.

The decision shall benefit as many as 12,113 Gana Sikhyaks in the state of Odisha, said reliable reports. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has taken this important decisions for the teachers of the state today. 12,113 gana sikhyakas of the state will be benefited by this decision.

It is worth noting that during the 5-T and Nabin Odisha Chairman and Karthik Pandian’s district visit, the gana sikhyakas had made requests and proposals for this at various places. Taking this proposal into consideration, the Chief Minister has taken a decision relating salary hike of Gana Sikhyaks in Odisha.

According to the decision of the Chief Minister, the teachers who have passed OTET will be regularized as MED Teachers (Ex Cadre). 1, 472 teachers of the state shall be benefited from this.

Similarly, the monthly gratuity of teachers who have not passed OTET has been increased from Rs. 7000 to Rs. 10,000. 1,121gana saikhyakas shall be benefited from this.

In addition to this, Assistant Teachers (Ex Cadre) who are not getting annual increment, will be given annual increment. This will benefit 9,520 assistant teachers (ex-cadre). Detailed reports awaited.
