Odisha: Pangolin meat, 16 tiger nails seized in Nayagarh, 2 arrested

The forest department officials have seized Pangolin meat along with 16 tiger nails during a raid in Daspalla range of Nayagarh.

Nayagarh: The forest department officials have seized Pangolin meat along with 16 tiger nails during a raid in Kurumi village of Banigochha section in the Daspalla range of the district. Two people have been arrested in connection with the case.

The arrested persons have been identified as Prahlad Kahhara, and Bholeswar Kahhar of Kurumi.

Apart from the pangolin meat and tiger nails, one country-made rifle, 2 arrow and bow set and other sharp weapons have also been seized from the arrested poachers.

Both the Prahlad and Bholeswar have been forwarded to court.
