Odisha Govt Extends Offline Mode For PUCs Till December 31

Bhubaneswar: Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificates will continue to be issued by off-line mode till December 31, informed Transport Department today.

Earlier the department has made online pollution certificate mandatory from October 1.

As per a notification of the Transport Department the decision to extend the off-line mode of PUC was extended after the department found inadequate numbers of pollution testing centres in the state.

“ PUCs will continue to be issued by both online and offline mode till December 31. Also, the PUCs obtained through both online and offline mode will remain valid till the expiry date indicated in the PUCs,” read the notification.
