Minor raped in Keonjhar, accused awarded 20 years imprisonment
A minor had been raped back in 2017, the accused in this case has been awarded 20 years of imprisonment on Tuesday.
Keonjhar: A minor had been raped back in 2017, the accused in this case has been awarded 20 years of imprisonment on Tuesday.
As much as 50 thousand rupees fine has been imposed on the accused. One-year imprisonment shall be added if the amount is unpai.
The court added that 7 lakh 50 thousand compensation was to be given by the government. The compensation and the fine was ordered by Keonjhar ADJ and Special POSCO Court Judge Shubhashree Tripathi.
The incident took place in Ladbil police station area. A minor girl was gang-raped when she was while she was going to the market.
One of the accused is Vijay Kumar Maharna had been nabbed, but the other two accused are still at large.
