Bhubaneswar: Noted knee striker Sachin Behera of Odisha has made the State and entire country proud by creating a new Guinness Book of World Records today.
Sachin Behera set the new Guinness Book of World Records for the highest number of full-contact knee-strikes using alternate legs with 5kg weight on the ankle in a minute. He made 204 full contact knee-strikes in three minutes by surpassing Pakistan’s Mohammad Rashid, who had made 178 full contact knee-strikes in three minutes.
It is to be noted here that this is the second World Record of Sachin Behera, who is a native of Larka village in Nuapada district. Earlier on 10 March, 2019, he had made a world record as fastest knee strike in one minute hitting the objects 137 times with two knees category on March 10, 2019.
