Hyderabad: In recent incident, a wedding was called off after the groom family was disappointed over mutton bone marrow not being served to them. The incident took place in Telangana, reliable reports said in this regard.
Reportedly, an argument erupted during the couple’s engagement ceremony after the guests complained about mutton bone marrow not being served to them. The tiff escalated further when the bride’s family said that bone marrow had not been added in the dishes.
The argument led to the intervention of the local police. Officials from the local police tried to resolve the matter by pacifying the groom’s side. The latter, however, did not relent and called the incident as an “insult.”
They even argued that the family of the bride purposely refrained from telling them the fact the bone marrow of mutton was not added to the menu. Ultimately, the wedding was called off by the family of the groom.
The bride was a resident of Nizamadbad while the groom hailed from Jagtiyal. Notably, they had god engaged in the month of November, and the wedding was called off soon after.
