Pilgrimage turns fatal! 7 killed, over 20 injured after truck rams bus in Haryana’s Ambala

Chandigarh: At least seven people were killed, while over 20 people were injured after a truck rammed into a mini-bus in Haryana’s Ambala on Friday.

According to reports, the incident occurred on the Ambala-Delhi-Jammu National Highway when the mini-bus carrying pilgrims to Vaishno Devi was hit by a truck.

In the incident, seven members of the same family were killed, while over 20 were left injured. After receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot, rushed the injured to nearby hospital and initiated a probe into the matter.

In a similar incident earlier, at least three people were killed while six people were critically injured in road accident in Bihar.

Reliable reports say that, an auto rammed into a truck following which, as many as three people have died and six injured. The incident took place near Mohanpur Chowk, in Sitamarhi in Bihar.

The Sub-divisional police officer of Sitamarhi Ram Krishna reached the spot on receiving the  information. He further informed the media that an auto that was going to Sonbarsa from the railway station. Near Mohanpur Chowk it collided with a truck and out of the nine injured, three people have been declared dead by the doctor.
