NRI woman sexually assaulted by company CEO in Delhi
A Non Resident Indian (NRI) was allegedly raped by the CEO of a private company in Chankyapuri area of Delhi.
New Delhi: A Non Resident Indian (NRI) was allegedly raped by the CEO of a private company in Chankyapuri area of Delhi.
According to reports, the CEO raped the woman at a room of five star hotel on September 14, 2023. Following the incident, the woman filed a complaint at the Chanakyapuri police station.
Reportedly, the Indian-origin US citizen was working at the company as an Assistant General Manager where the accused was a CEO. The accused was known to be her uncle and had helped her in getting this job.
Based on the complaint, a cased has been registered against the accused under section 376 of the Indian Penal Code. Further investigation into the matter is underway.
