New born baby stolen from hospital in Bihar
A new born baby boy was allegedly stolen from the Government Medical College and Hospital in Bettiah in Bihar’s West Champaran district.
Patna: A new born baby boy was allegedly stolen from the Government Medical College and Hospital in Bettiah in Bihar’s West Champaran district.
According to reports, the father of the baby, identified as Sayyed Murad Ali, said that he suspect a woman has stolen his baby. Sayyed Murad informed that he and his wife one Mahira Khatoon rushed to the hospital after she developed labour pain on January 14.
Mahira was admitted to the gynecology ward of the hospital where she delivered a baby boy. As per Ali’s information, when they came to the hospital, an unknown woman met them and tried to become friendly with them. The suspected lady also used visit the gynecology ward to meet them.
However, the woman went missing from the hospital since 1 am on Tuesday, and the baby also went missing. Following the incident, Ali filed a case in the nearby police station.
Based on the complaint, police has initiated a probe into the matter. Further detailed reports related to the matter are awaited.
