Khalistani Leader Pannun threatens to shutdown Delhi’s IGI airport and cautions against Air India travel on November 19, Watch

A video of Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun threatening to shutdown Delhi's IGI airport on Nov 19 has surfaced on internet.

New Delhi: A video message from Khalistani terrorist Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has surfaced on social media, raising concerns about potential threats to security and aviation in India. Pannun issued a chilling warning, urging people not to travel via Air India on November 19, which is also the date of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 final in Ahmedabad.

The video comes amidst the ongoing diplomatic tensions between India and Canada, stemming from the killing of Canadian Khalistani leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar. In his video message, Pannun stated, “Lives would be in danger,” and advised Sikh individuals against choosing Air India for their travels on November 19, citing an impending “global blockade.” He further emphasized that the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport in Delhi would be closed on the same day, coinciding with the cricket World Cup final.

This is not the first time Pannun has issued threats; in a previous video message, he warned Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to learn from the Israel-Palestine conflict and prevent a similar “response” within India, cautioning that “violence begets violence.”

Gurpatwant Singh Pannun has been under the radar of India’s National Investigation Agency (NIA) since 2019, facing allegations of orchestrating acts of terrorism and promoting fear and terror in Punjab and other regions of India through intimidation tactics.

In a related incident, Khalistani activists prevented the Indian high commissioner to the United Kingdom from entering a gurudwara in Scotland, highlighting the global reach and influence of this movement.

The diplomatic dispute between India and Canada began when Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made claims regarding the alleged involvement of Indian security agencies in Nijjar’s June killing. India dismissed these allegations as “baseless” and “politically driven,” leading to the expulsion of diplomats on both sides and a continuing strain on bilateral relations.
