Bengaluru: A 39-year-old start-up CEO allegedly murdered her four-year-old son in Goa and travelled all way to Karnataka with body stuffed in the bag.
The accused has been identified as Suchana Seth, CEO of artificial intelligence start-up Mindful AI Lab.
According to reports, on Saturday, Ms Seth checked into a hotel in North Goa’s Candolim along with her son and checked out on Monday morning.
She asked the hotel staff to book a cab to Bengaluru. She insisted to take a taxi despite on taking a flight. The staff noticed that her son was missing. After she left, the hotel staff noticed some blood stains in the hotel room.
Then the hotel staff informed the Goa police about the incident. Then the police contacted the cab driver and spoke to Suchana over the phone, enquiring about her son. She claimed he was with a friend in Goa.
Finding it to be suspicious, the police asked the driver to take her to a nearest police station in Chitradurga, Karnataka. The police found the body stuffed in the bag and then arrested her.
The police recovered the body and sent it for post-mortem.
The reason behind the murder is still unknown.
