INSA Medal for Young Scientists 2022 announced, award amount Rs 1 lakh; Check details & Apply soon
The INSA Medal for Young Scientists 2022 is an initiative started by the Indian National Science Academy (INSA) for the young scientists to encourage and reward them for their research and contributions towards India’s science and technology sector.
Young scientists less than 40-year-old will be honored this year. Applicants must be 40 years of age or younger by December 31, 2022.
An award, a certificate, and a prize of Rs. 1 lakh will be given to the deserving scientists. 15 December 2022 is the last date for applying for this award. On or before December 15, interested and qualified candidates may enroll. Applications can be sent in via email by candidates.
Criteria:
- Candidates must be involved in Science and Technology.
- Candidates should have independent research of their own.
- Candidates must be under 40 years.
- Candidates should be 40 or younger by December 2022.
Number of Awards:
- This year 40 scientists are going to be honored.
Last date of registration:
- Candidates can apply by 15 December, 2022.
Selection Process:
- Candidates will be selected based on the research they have conducted. It will be decided by a high-level committee.
Awards:
- Medals, Certificate and a prize money of Rs 1 Lakh.
- Medal size- 6.35 cm diameter.
- Weight- 116 grams.
- The award will have a seal of the academy on it.
