The total number of active cases reported on Saturday was 5,357.
In the last 24 hours, 98.74 percent of people recovered from the virus, the total number of recoveries stands at 44,196,318.

The country witnessed 14 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the death tally to 5,30,979
The fatality rate stands at 1.19 percent. The daily positivity rate stood at 3.39 per cent, while the weekly positivity rate at 3.02 per cent.
In the last 24 hours, Uttar Pradesh reported 319 new COVID cases, the highest single-day spike of this year, taking the number of active cases to 1,192, also the highest this year.
