New-Delhi: The ongoing lockdown in Delhi has been extended by another week and will continue till May 3 to curb the spread of Covid-19.
Making the announcement, Delhi Chief Minster Arvind Kejriwal said, “Corona still continues to wreak havoc. Public opinion is also that lockdown should increase. In view of this, we had earlier imposed a six-day lockdown which was supposed to end tomorrow at 5am”.
There is 30 percent positivity rate, which was not there before, the Chief Minister said.
We have started a portal that will be updated every two hours by oxygen manufacturers, suppliers and hospitals for better management of oxygen supply,” said Kejriwal.
