A huge tree fell on a Tesla Model 3 car in China but surprisingly the glass roof of the car did not collapse. This resulted in the driver inside the vehicle escaping unhurt. The video of the accident was captured by people nearby on their smartphones and has now gone viral on the internet.

In the video shared by a Twitter user named Jay in Shanghai, we can see a Tesla Model 3 car under a massive tree. The Tesla car can be seen under the massive stress of the fallen tree. Surprisingly, the glass roof of the car did not shatter even under intense pressure. The CEO and co-founder of Tesla, Elon Musk responded to the video shared by the Twitter user.

Elon responded with a report by the US government about the safety of the Tesla Model 3. A test run by National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) on the Tesla Model 3 showed that the car has the lowest probability of injury of any vehicle ever tested by NHTSA. The Model 3 also achieved a 5-star safety rating in every category and sub-category.

Specifications of Tesla Model 3

The Tesla Model 3 is offered in three different variants- Performance, Long Range and Rear-Wheel drive. The performance variant is the fastest among the three variants and can achieve 0-60 mph in 3.1seconds. Among the three variants, the long-range variant offers the highest range i.e. 358 miles.
