Video: Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan & Team Shine In ‘Mission Mangal’ Trailer

Bhubaneswar: The makers of the much-awaited film ‘Mission Mangal’ dropped the trailer of the film on Thursday. The film features an ensemble star cast consisting of Vidya Balan, Akshay Kumar, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Sharman Joshi, Kirti Kulhari, H.G Dattatreya and Nithya Menon among others.

The trailer shows Akshay as Mission Director Rakesh Dhawan while Vidya Balan is introduced as the very driven and optimistic Project Director Tara Shinde. Sonakshi Sinha plays a feisty, ambitious aspiring space scientist Eka Gandhi, who joins the mission as the Propulsion Controller while the diligent and newly-married Navigation And Communication Controller Kritika Aggarwal is played by Taapsee Pannu.

Actress Nithya Menon stars as Satellite Designer Varsha Gowda and Kirti Kulhari’s character Neha Siddiqui is in charge of Programme Autonomy. Sharman Joshi, who plays a very superstitious Parmeshwar Naidu looks after payloads while veteran actor H.G. Dattatreya is the Supervisor Of Structural Design.

Directed by Jagan Shakti, ‘Mission Mangal’ has been produced by Fox Star Studios. It is all slated to release on August 15, 2019.

The film will clash with John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’ and Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer ‘Saaho’ at the box office.
