Veteran actor Anupam Kher shares ‘struggle story’ for series ‘The Freelancer’

Anupam Kher shared how he had to learn a lot of lines and a lot of technical expressions for his role in 'The Freelancer.'

Actor Anupam Kher’s latest on screen portrayal is character of ‘Dr Khan’ in the series ‘The Freelancer.’ Recently, the veteran actor shared about the most tricky part of his preparation for the series.

‘The Freelancer’ shows Mohit Raina, Anupam Kher, and Kashmira Pardeshi in integral roles.

Talking about the same, Anupam said, “Well, I had to learn a lot of lines and a lot of technical expressions and words in it. It is a joy also and it is a tough thing also, because there are less emotions involved in it.”

He mentioned that Neeraj Pandey’s dialogues are very precise. He even said that personally it is easier for him to remember dialogues when there are emotions involved in it.

‘The Freelancer’ is based on the book – ‘A Ticket to Syria’ by Shirish Thorat.

Directed by Bhav Dhulia, the series has been produced by Friday Storytellers. Neeraj Pandey is the Creator and Showrunner.

‘The Freelancer’ is about an extraction mission in war-torn hostile environment of Syria. The storyline centers around a girl who is held captive; and her escape from the world of death.

The series stars Sushant Singh, John Kokken, Gauri Balaji and Navneet Malik, Manjiri Faddnis, Sarah Jane Dias in significant roles. Actor Kashmira Pardeshi portrays the role of Aliya in ‘The Freelancer’.

‘The Freelancer’ is set to release on Disney+ Hotstar on September 1.
