Bollywood actor Sunny Deol, riding high on the success of Gadar 2, brought the house down at the 54^th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa. During the opening ceremony, the Bollywood star, along with directors Anil Sharma, Rajkumar Santoshi, and Rahul Rawail, graced the stage for a masterclass. It was Deol’s impromptu dance to the popular Gadar 2 track, “Main Nikla Gaddi Leke,” that stole the spotlight.

In a lively performance, Sunny Deol enthusiastically danced to the upbeat rhythm of the song, with fans joining him on stage. The crowd cheered as the Bollywood star showcased his dance moves. The viral moment captured the joyous atmosphere at IFFI 2023.

Despite the light-hearted dance, the event took an emotional turn as directors discussed Sunny Deol’s journey in the film industry. During a conversation with Rahul Rawail, Sunny shared insights into his career, expressing gratitude and acknowledging his emotional nature.

Reflecting on his post-Gadar success in 2001, Sunny revealed a challenging period when scripts were scarce. Rajkumar Santoshi praised Sunny’s talent, stating, “I believe that the industry has not done justice to Sunny’s talent. But God has done justice.” Sunny Deol became visibly emotional at the heartfelt acknowledgment.

“Gadar 2,” where Sunny reprised his role as Tara Singh, proved to be a massive hit, becoming the second-highest-grossing Hindi film. The film also featured Ameesha Patel, Simrat Kaur, and Utkarsh Sharma.

Looking ahead, Sunny Deol is set to feature in Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Lahore 1947,” produced by actor Aamir Khan. The actor’s enduring popularity and memorable moments continue to resonate with fans, making his presence a highlight at events like IFFI 2023.
