Sonam Kapoor Ahuja shoots for Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga In Delhi
The 'Khoobsurat' Actress was in Delhi to shoot for 'ELKDTAL'

New Delhi: Actor Sonam Kapoor Ahuja was recently spotted in the national capital, shooting for Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’. She was seen at the posh South-Delhi locality Hauz Khas, along with South Indian Actress Regina Cassandra who is making her Bollywood debut with ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’.
The cast and crew shot at Hauz Khas village for many hours. Sporting a beige and yellow Anarkali teamed with a traditional Punjabi ‘Phulkari’ embroidery, Sonam looked every bit of a quintessential Punjabi girl. Interestingly, this is going to be Sonam’s second film with Vinod Chopra Productions after ‘Sanju’, where she seen in a brief role as Ranbir Kapoor’s love interest Ruby.
Earlier, Sonam and the male lead of the film Rajkummar Rao had shot for some crucial scenes at Gurgaon Metro station. It was a 13-hour schedule and the actress was seen goofing around off camera with her co-stars and director Shelly Chopra Dhar.
The movie which was earlier slated to release on October 12 has now been postponed to February next year. The movie will now release on February 1, 2019. This was confirmed by Sonam through an Instagram post.
‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’ also features Sonam’s father Anil Kapoor playing her on-screen father. Besides, Juhi Chawla will also be seen reuniting with Anil Kapoor after a gap of 12 years.
Extensively shot in various locations of the Punjab and Delhi, the film is a love story about a Punjabi girl in love with a Muslim man, whose life falls apart when she discovers her father’s infidelity with a woman who aspires to be an actress.
