Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Animal’ eyes Rs 400 crore back at Domestic box office

Ranbir Kapoor’s latest movie, ‘Animal,’ continues to make waves at the box office. The film is currently eyeing the Rs 400 crore mark at the domestic box office. Despite receiving mixed reviews, the film’s business remains phenomenal. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, ‘Animal’ clashed with Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Sam Bahadur’ but has consistently outperformed it since its release. 

On the eighth day, early estimates suggest that ‘Animal’ earned around Rs 23.50 crore at the domestic box office, bringing the total collection to Rs 361.08 crore. The film had an overall 29.41 percent occupancy in theatres on Day 7, showing its strong appeal among audiences. 

Released worldwide on December 1, 2023, ‘Animal’ is a gripping drama directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, starring Ranbir Kapoor as Rannvijay. The storyline revolves around the intense relationship between a father and son. Rannvijay seeks revenge for an assassination attempt on his father, played by actor Anil Kapoor. The film also features Rashmika Mandanna, Tripti Dimri, and Bobby Deol in significant roles.

‘Animal’ is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Pranay Reddy Vanga under T-Series Films Bhadrakali and Cine1 Studios. Further ‘Animal’ movie also boasts a stellar soundtrack with music from JAM8, Vishal Mishra, Jaani, Manan Bhardwaj, Shreyas Puranik, Ashim Kemson, and Harshwardhan Rameshwar. The film, with a runtime of 201 minutes (3 hours 21 minutes), continues to capture audiences with its compelling narrative and strong performances.
