Kangana & Her Sister Rangoli Summoned By Court for Defamation

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut, along with her sister Rangoli Chandel, was issued a summon by a Mumbai court on Tuesday. The summon was in regards to a Defamation case filed by Aditya Pancholi in 2017.

For starters, summon is an order to appear before a judge or magistrate. Defamation is the action of damaging the good reputation of someone.

The next hearing for the case will be on July 26, as reported by ANI.

According to reports, Aditya Pancholi and his wife Zarina Wahab had lodged four Defamation cases against Kangana and Rangoli in 2017, after the two of them went on multiple public platforms and hurled allegations at the actor and his wife.

In fact, Kangana has repeatedly said that she was in an abusive relationship with Aditya Pancholi and how he exploited her when she was a newcomer in the Industry.

Her sister Rangoli had filed a complaint at the Versova Police Station in May this year, alleging that her sister has been exploited and abused by Aditya Pancholi.

Aditya, in turn, filed a counter complaint saying Kangana’s lawyer threatened to file a Rape case against him.
