Ghar More Pardesiya: First Song from Kalank releases

Bhubaneswar: A new song titled Ghar More Pardesiya was dropped online on Monday by the makers of the epic love saga Kalank.

While Varun Dhawan’s Zafar is seen in glimpses, jugalbandi between Alia Bhatt’s Roop and Madhuri Dixit’s Begum Bahaar was the highlight of the video. Pritam has composed music for Ghar More Pardesiya that has been written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Shreya Ghosal and Vaishali Mhade have lent their voices for the song. It is important to note here that Shreya and Vaishali had rocked with their Pinga from Bajirao Mastani.

The song opens with Alia and Varun both attending the Ram Leela unbeknownst to each other. On another hand, Madhuri is seen sitting on a swing singing a bhajan. Soon, we see Alia entering the premises where Madhuri is singing and the two embark on a melodious jugalbandi. Alia also does a beautiful classical dance that impresses Madhuri, and us. Ace choreographer Remo D’Souza and his team deserve a round of claps here.

In grand movies like Kalank colours play a huge role. Previously, in grand movies like Goliyon ki Rasleela- Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani, Manikarnika, Padmaavat we have seen the huge significance of colours based on the scenes. In Ghar More PardesiyaAlia is seen in pastel white-most likely signifying innocence or purity. Madhuri’s clothes have gold on pink which may be signifying feminity, playfulness with a dash of grandeur. Meanwhile, Varun is seen in a red kurta. Red might be signifying passion, energy, desire or excitement.
