The first look of The Archies, Zoya Akhtar’s Bollywood adaptation of the comic series, is out and is sure to take the audience back down the memory lane.
It has been quite some time since there has been a buzz about SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Late Sridevi’s younger daughter, Khushi Kapoor and Big B’s grandson, Agastya Nanda making their Bollywood debut through this film.
In the film, Suhana will be saying playing Veronica, Agastya portraying archie and Khushi essaying the role of Betty. The film also features Mihir Ahuja, Dot, Yuvraj Menda, and Vedang Raina in the main cast.
Along with the first look, the makers have also shared the teaser of the film. “Get ready to take a trip down memory lane ’cause The Archies is coming soon only on @netflix_in. Ain’t nothing like old school. Grab your gang ’cause the Archies are coming soon on @netflix_in!” Akhtar captioned the posts. The posted teaser also features a background music track by Ankur Tiwari.

Amitabh Bachchan re-shared the reveal poster on his twitter handle. The actor was all praises for his grandson, Agastya Nanda. Captioning the post, he wrote, “another SONrise.my GrandSON. all the blessings Agastya .. love you. Get ready to take a trip down memory lane ’cause The Archies by @zoieakhtar is coming soon only on @netflix_in “.
The film is an adaptation of the famous Archie comics and is set back in 1960s. The shoot commenced in April, this year and was announced in November, last year. It is to stream on Netflix in 2023.
