Sensex declines 100 points, Nifty below 21,700
The Nifty dropped 35.55 points to trade at 21,675.25 by 10,00 am. While, the Sensex declined 71,910.31 with drop of 115.84 points or 0.16 percent.
New Delhi: Indian benchmark equity indices declined after climbing marginally on Monday. The Sensex opened with 107.33 points down at 71,918.82. While the Nifty was up 36.80 points to open at 21,747.60.
However, the Nifty dropped 35.55 points to trade at 21,675.25 by 10,00 am. While, the Sensex declined 71,910.31 with drop of 115.84 points or 0.16 percent.
All other sectorial indices are trading in the red except for oil & gas and auto.
The top losers were Infosys, Bajaj Finance, Tata Consumer, Divis Labs, and UPL. Meanwhile, the major gainers on Nifty were Titan Company, Tata Motors, Eicher Motors, BPCL, and HCL Technologies.
