Gold rate in India: Prices drop for 2nd consecutive day on January 5, 2023

Bhubaneswar: The rate of gold in India has dropped for the second consecutive day today. On January 5, 2024, 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 62,770 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 57,500. 24 carat gold has dropped by Rs 240 while 22 carat gold has dropped by Rs 220 in the last 24 hours.

Coming to Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar, the price of gold has remained unchanged in the last 24 hours. On January 5, 2024, 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 63,820, while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 58,500.

Changes in gold rate were also recorded in several important cities in India. They are as follows:

  • Delhi: Rs 63,970 for 24 carat gold (10 grams) and Rs 58,650 for 22 carat gold (10 grams).
  • Mumbai: 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 63,820, while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 58,500.
  • Kolkata: 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 63,820, while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 58,500.
  • Chennai: 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 52,285 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 47,927.

Silver rate today: On January 5, 2024, silver has been priced at Rs 71,800 per kilogram. The rates have dropped significantly in the last 24 hours
