Gold price increases for 24 carat, 22 carat in India on December 24

Bhubaneswar: The price of gold in India has increased marginally for 24-carat and 22-carat gold in the last 24 hours. On December 24, 2023, the 24 carat gold (10 grams) costs Rs 63,490 while 22 carat gold (10 grams) Rs 58,200. The gold rate has increased by Rs 260 and Rs 200 for the 24 carat and 22 carat, respectively.

Coming to Odisha’s capital city Bhubaneswar, the price of gold has remained unchanged in the last 24 hours. On Sunday, the 24-carat gold per 10 grams costs Rs 63,640. Meanwhile, 22 carat gold (10 grams) has been priced at Rs 58,200.

Changes in gold price was also recorded in major cities of India. In Delhi, while 24 carat gold has been priced at Rs 63,640, 22-carat gold costs Rs 58,350. In Kolkata, 24-carat gold costs Rs 63,490 and 22-carat gold costs Rs 58,200.

Further in Mumbai, 24 carat gold has been priced at Rs 63,490 while 22 carat gold costs Rs 58,200. Lastly, in Chennai, the 24-carat gold costs Rs 64,090 while 22-carat gold has been priced at Rs Rs 58,750.

Silver rates have decreased by Rs 500 in India in the last 24 hours. On December 24, 2023, silver has been priced at Rs 79,000 per kg.
