Royal Enfield has launched a first of its kind ‘Ássured Buyback’ program for its motorcycles in partnership with OTO Capital in India. Royal Enfield aims to provide customers with a hassle-free and straightforward ownership experience with this Buyback program.
The Mumbai-based financing startup OTO Capital offers flexible loans for individuals buying two-wheelers. Under the ‘Ássured Buyback’ program of Royal Enfield, buyers can get flexible tenure choices ranging from 1-3 years, and up to 45 per cent cheaper EMIs.
The first of its type in the market also offers a cash-back incentive at the end of the term. In addition, there is a guaranteed repurchase value of up to 77 per cent depending on the duration.
At the end of the tenure, customers will have the option to either trade their motorcycle for a new Royal Enfield bike, retain the bike or return it.
Royal Enfield buyback scheme benefits
The program offers a guaranteed buyback value for their existing Royal Enfield motorcycle and the added benefit of reduced monthly EMIs for customers. Moreover, after the guaranteed buyback period ends, buyers can decide whether they want to retain, return, or exchange their motorcycle for a new Royal Enfield model.
Royal Enfield will initially offer the Assured Buyback program at dealerships in 12 cities. These include Delhi, Ghaziabad, Noida, Lucknow, Jaipur, Bhopal, Indore, Ahmedabad, Pune, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai. The company will be extending this program to additional cities too.
According to the company, this move establishes a groundbreaking standard for the industry. The company has claimed that the program has the potential to greatly expand and elevate the mid-size motorcycle segment in India by reshaping the conventional motorcycle purchasing process.
