Plus Two exam begins in Odisha

Odisha: Annual Plus Two examination began in Odisha today. As many as 3,69,535 students are appearing the exams at 1091 centres across the state.

Science and Commerce students appeared for MIL (Odia) paper on day one. The Arts students are slated to appear for the same subject tomorrow.

The state government has taken all possible measures to curb malpractice and to check question paper going viral on social media.

While CCTVs have been installed in the exam centres, usage of smart and digital watches by the examinees at the exam centres has been prohibited by the Council. Besides, squads have been formed at the state-level, zonal-level and district-level to check malpractice during the examination.

The students were allowed to carry only pencils, black ball pens, scales and normal wrist watches.

Meanwhile, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik conveyed his best wishes to the student for the examination.

The Plus Two examination conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will conclude on March 31.
