An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale jolted Leh and Ladakh during the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Leh: An earthquake of magnitude 3.4 on the Richter scale jolted Leh and Ladakh during the early hours of Tuesday morning. The quake struck at 05:39:56 (IST) on January 30, the National Centre of Seismology reported.
As per reports from the NCS, the quake originated at Latitude 35.27 and Longitude 75.40. The epicenter of the earthquake in Leh and Ladakh was five kilometers beneath the earth surface.
The NCS took to their official handle on X (formerly Twitter) to inform about the earthquake.
