KK demise: Kolkata police registers unnatural death, singer’s autopsy to be conducted today

Bollywood singer Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK, took his last breath at 53 on Tuesday. Now a new news regarding his demise has surfaced online and according to it the singer had suffered injuries to face and head.

Reportedly, the Kolkata Police has registered a case of unnatural death of KK at the New Market police station.

On May 31st, KK collapsed at the Grand Hotel, after returning from a show in the city, and was rushed to a private hospital where he was declared dead.

According to sources, KK suffered face and head bone injuries. An autopsy will be conducted at SSKM Hospital in Kolkata on Wednesday. The result will ascertain the cause of death, said police.

Krishnakumar started his Bollywood career by singing a small portion of ‘Chhod Aaye Hum’ from Gulzar’s Maachis. His full-fledged Hindi song was the immensely popular track ‘Tadap tadap ke’ from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999.
