Mumbai Cruise Ship Drugs Case: Aryan Khan released from Arthur Road Jail

Mumbai: Aryan Khan, the son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, walks out of Mumbai jail after nearly four weeks. The 23-year-old was granted bail on Thursday by the Bombay High Court in the drugs-on-cruise case.

With thousands of fans, admirers, a huge posse of police and mediapersons camping here for the second day, Aryan’s much-anticipated exit out of the ARCJ to the waiting vehicle lasted barely a couple of seconds.

All that the waiting crowds managed to catch was a glimpse of Aryan sporting a bright blue shirt with his stark mane visible, but his face covered by a dark mask as he stepped inside the car without looking around.

Whisked off by a bevy of bouncers and bodyguards to the white SUV with dark glasses on all sides, Aryan was immediately driven toward his Bandra home via the Bandra-Worli Sea Link.

He spent another night in jail as his bail papers missed the 5.30pm deadline on Friday after an anxious wait that went down to seconds.

Earlier this morning, Arthur Road jail officials were seen opening the bail box, setting off the process for the star son’s release.

“We’ve received Aryan’s release orders other release orders being processed too,” said a jail official.

Shah Rukh Khan was seen leaving his Mannat home to reach the Arthur Road Jail.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai Police have deployed huge security, barricades and roadblocks at various points to stop the fans of both SRK and Aryan crowding around the actor’s home and near the ARCJ, besides many lining up the roads from Bandra to Chinchpokli, a distance of around 15 km.
