Jharsuguda: The district administration of Jharsuguda on Friday suspended operation of weekly haat (market) in the entire district for the next three weeks. The decision has been reportedly taken in view of COVID-19 resurgence.
District Collector Saroj Kumar Samal on the official Twitter handle of the district administration said that there will be no weekly haat in the entire district for the next three weeks.
“There will be no weekly hat in our district for the coming three weeks. Daily markets at different locations dealing in vegetables and non-vegetarian food items will be dispersed over multiple locations. Requested to co-operate in furthering our fight against the resurgence of COVID,” he tweeted.
