Maoist posters resurface in Rayagada village

Rayagada: After a few days lull Red fear loomed large again in Rayagada district on Sunday after surfacing of a number of posters released by Maoists in Bijabandeli village under Ambadola police limits, this time protesting the repealing the special status to Jammu & Kashmir State.

The posters released in the name of Bansadhara-Nagavali-Ghumusara division of the outlawed CPI (Maoist) group categorically objected the Central Government’s move to repeal Article 370 and 35A in J&K last month. Through the posters, the Red rebels also accused the media of taking an anti-Kashmiri stand.

The posters which were seen put up on a tree in Bijabandeli village also came down heavily on Rayagada Police over the surrender of woman Maoist Pratibha on November 7. The Red rebels have claimed that Pratibha had been forced by police to surrender.

Police had not reached the spot where the posters were seen till the last report came in.
