Man vs Wild

Man vs Wild is a survival television series hosted by ace adventurer Bear Grylls. The general format of each episode of this show is the premise that Grylls is left stranded in a region with his film crew. The episode documents his efforts to survive and find a way back to civilization, usually requiring an overnight shelter of some kind. Mostly there are wild terrains – jungles, forests or similar non-urban areas.

Bear Grylls’ view on Modi

Bear Grylls revealed in a recent interview that since PM Modi is a vegetarian, he will not be seen eating insects or animals. Bear Grylls stated that eating insects are not necessary to survive in the wild as there are a wide variety of herbs, berries, and fruits that can be eaten. Bear Grylls further added that the PM spent his younger years in the wild so he was very comfortable with that.

In some earlier episodes, Grylls has been seen eating snakes, insects and doing extraordinary stunts such as free climbing waterfalls, ice climbing, running through a forest fire, parachuting from helicopters and wrestling alligators to survive.
