Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday appointed former Minister and two times MLA Arabinda Dhali as the Chairman of Odisha State Seeds Corporation Limited (OSSCL).
Taking to its twitter handle, the Chief Minister’s office informed about Dhali’s appointment.

Dhali, a native of M.V.55 village in Malkangiri district, made his political career in 1990 as a member of the BJP. He was elected as Malkangiri MLA in 1992 and continued to hold the post till 2000. Later, he joined the Bharatiya Janshakti Party led by Uma Bharti in 2005.
In 2009, he joined the state ruling BJD and won the assembly elections from Jayadev constituency of his home district.
Dhali was also the Transport and Corporation Minister in the BJD-BJP alliance government then.
