Bhubaneswar: The post-mortem report of Unamay Padhi who is suspected to have been murdered over viral sex clips on social networking sites, pointed at the involvement of more than one assailants in the case.
The post-mortem report which was submitted to the Commissionerate Police today revealed that Padhi had been struck on his head by sharp weapons and then stabbed in his abdomen. After he fell unconscious, the assailants burnt him alive, it added.
While police have arrested three persons including the girl who was seen with Unmay in the viral sex clips, the findings of autopsy report is expected to throw more light on the gruesome murder.
Unmay, who lived in Badagada area in the city and worked in a private educational institution in Saheed Nagar area was stabbed to death by professional killers and then charred along with his laptop, mobile phone and bike on the Kuakhai river bed on March 21. Over 50 intimate videos featuring him along with a woman colleague from Chandabali in Bhadrak district went viral on social networking sites in 2017 and also days before the murder.
