Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, who attended the Annual Day Function of the Utkal University yesterday amidst tight security arrangements, had a great time with students apart from inaugurating various facilities.
He inaugurated the Language Block at the Utkal University (known as Vani Vihar) and laid foundation stone of HRD Centre and Biotechnology Annex. State Ministers Pradip Panigrahi, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak and Sanjay Dasburma were present on that occasion.
CM Naveen was seen mixing with the students. Some of them took selfie with him. The CM was smiling and in a relaxing mood. No unpleasant incident occurred during CM’s visit to Vani Vihar, although around 50 Congress Workers were detained ahead of his visit while trying to clash with the police.
