AAP to oppose Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s Bargarh visit
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has raised the pitch on the issue of farmers and decided to vociferously oppose the proposed visit of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan to Bargargh on June 15.
While Chouhan is supposed to visit Bargarh to attend the Modi Fest programme being organised to mark three years of BJP-led NDA Govt at the Centre, the AAP holds him responsible for the killing of 6 farmers in Mandsaur, Madhya Pradesh.
AAP’s state convener Nishikant Mohapatra said the MP Chief Minister has lost moral right to visit Bargarh, the Land of farmers in Odisha.
The AAP is holding demonstrations across all district headquarters in Odisha today protesting the farmers’ killing in Madhya Pradesh.
