UFO sightings in Las Vegas spark investigation and Congressional hearing

Las Vegas: Multiple Unidentified Flying Objects (UFO) sightings in Las Vegas on the night of April 30 have sparked a police investigation, with witnesses reporting strange glowing objects and creatures. Body camera footage obtained by USA Today revealed an officer responding to a family’s 911 call, where they claimed to have seen a 10-foot-tall “big creature” in the sky. The officer mentioned that another colleague witnessed something similar eight minutes earlier.

Subsequently, another resident called 911 to report “100 percent not human” entities on their property, and a separate body camera footage captured a glowing object flying in the sky. Around 40 minutes later, a man reported two unknown entities in his backyard, describing them as 8 to 10 feet tall with big mouths and shiny eyes, akin to aliens.

These sightings come amid heightened interest in UFOs, with the House Oversight Committee of the US House of Representatives planning to conduct a hearing on the matter. A former intelligence official, David Grusch, recently claimed that the government has a secret program aimed at recovering debris from crashed non-human origin spacecraft and reverse-engineering the technology.

The All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) previously reported reviewing over 800 UFO incidents dating back decades. However, they found no credible evidence of extraterrestrial activity or off-world technology. Despite the Pentagon spokesperson dismissing Grusch’s claims, the House Oversight Committee remains interested in investigating these unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAP).
