Xiaomi 14, 14 Ultra launched in India; Know Specs, price and availability

Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi 14 as well as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra in India. It is quite delightful for Indian smartphone enthusiasts as Xiaomi had hinted about the launch of the Xiaomi 14 only (and not about the Xiaomi 14 Ultra). While the Xiaomi 14 is priced at Rs 69,999, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is priced at Rs 99,999.

The sale of the smartphones will commence on March 11 from 12 noon. It will be available on platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Mi website as well as Xiaomi retail stores. There is also a Xiaomi 14 Ultra Reserve Edition and its reservations can be made at Rs 9999 starting from March 11. There are bank discounts for the ICICI Bank credit and Debit card holders. They can get a Rs 5000 cashback along with an exchange bonus of Rs 5000 for the Xiaomi 14 series.

The Xiaomi 14 offers a 6.36-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 460ppi pixel density, and an adaptive refresh rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz. The peak brightness of the display is 3000 nits and offers full DC dimming.

The device is powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC which is coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.. The camera unit has Summilux lens and a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) with f//1.6 aperture, a 50-megapixel 75mm floating telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shooter. It also has a 32-megapixel front camera.

Xiaomi 14 packs a 4,610mAh battery with support for 90W HyperCharge charging support, 50W wireless HyperCharge charging support and 10W wireless reverse charging.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra offers a 6.73-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1440x3200px. The refresh rate on the device is up to 120Hz and we get HDR10+ support too. The maximum brightness of the display is 3000 nits. The display on the device is made of Shield Glass and the company claims that it is quite drop resistant. The corners of the screen are curved and the company calls it All Around Liquid Display.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is the latest by Qualcomm. It is paired with 16 GB of RAM with 512GB of storage. There is a larger vapor cooling chamber on board. The battery on the device is 5300mAh unit and it gets 90W wired charging support. The device also supports 80W wireless charging.
