Realme 12 Pro to offer new Sony IMX882 camera sensor and Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor

It is noteworthy to mention that the realme 12 Pro will be the first smartphone to ger the Sony IMX882 sensor.

Realme is all set to launch the 12 Pro series in India and is currently teasing the specifications of the smartphones. The Realme 12 Pro series will have a launch event on 29th January, 12 noon. The device will be available on Flipkart. The realme 12Pro will also get a Sony IMX882 sensor while the Pro+ variant will get a IMX890 sensor. The company has also specified that Realme 12 Pro device will get a Snapdragon 6 gen 1 processor onboard.

It is noteworthy to mention that the realme 12 Pro will be the first smartphone to get the Sony IMX882 sensor. Even though the sensor is yet to be official, it is speculated that it will be a rebranded version of the LYT-600 as seen in the Oppo reno11 5G as well as vivo S18e.

When it comes to optics, the primary camera of the device is expected to be 50MP and is expected to take excellent pictures. The renders of the smartphone have suggested that it will not offer periscope lens. The device will offer three cameras that will be present on the circular camera module. The teased picture of the smartphone is in Cream gold version.

The Realme 12 Pro will be offered with a 20X zoom and is different than the 120X zoom on the Pro+ variant. This means that the camera will offer 2x telephoto lens along with 10x digital zoom. All details of the smartphone will be known on January 29 and we are eagerly waiting for it.
