OnePlus Ace 3 tipped to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, curved display
The key specifications of the OnePlus Ace 3, which is expected to launch soon, has been leaked ahead of official launch.
OnePlus is expected to launch the successor of the Ace 2 in its home market soon. The smartphone is said to be called Ace 3. Though the company has not released any information about the device, the leak reports have revealed some key specifications of the OnePlus Ace 3.
Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) has shared the key specifications of the upcoming OnePlus phone on Weibo. As per the tipster, the phone will feature a metal frame design and feature a curved display with boast a 1.5K resolution and run Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The tipster has also revealed that the handset will feature a gunmetal grey glass body.
We also got to know that it will have 16GB RAM thanks to a recent Geekbench listing. It is expected to arrive in other markets outside China with the name OnePlus 12R.
The OnePlus Ace 3 has also been listed on the Geekbench website with the model number PJD110. It has a chipset that has been codenamed ‘kalama’, which nits that the phone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. The listing suggested 16GB RAM and Android 13 operating system. The handset received a single-core score of 1,597 points and a multi-core score of 5,304 points on the platform.
OnePlus Ace 3 will likely launch in global markets as well as India with the OnePlus 12R moniker.
Apart from this, other leak reports have also suggested that the handset could feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a triple rear camera unit housing a 50-megapixel primary sensor with support for optical image stabilisation (OIS), an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle sensor, and a 32-megapixel telephoto shooter. It might feature a 16-megapixel sensor in the front.
The OnePlus Ace 2 was launched in India as the OnePlus 11R 5G with a price tag of Rs. 39,999 for the base 8GB RAM + 256GB variant.
